Karriem K. Kanston is a motivational speaker, consultant, author, entrepreneur, advocate for underrepresented businesses and a valuable asset to organizations. He has a consultant business named Kanston Development in which he conducts workshops and trainings in the areas of economic development, personal development and leadership development.
He has a vast array of experiences and worked for companies in higher education, a fortune 500 retail company where he trained senior managers in leadership & management development. He is also a veteran of the Armed National Guard and has spent a number of years in the banking industry in which he currently receives a paycheck from Coastway Community Bank.

Mr. Kanston also has developed a workshop and speeches around developing your personal mission statement. He believes it is important for people to understand their true purpose in life.He is the author of “14 Ways To Buy Real Estate With NO MONEY” and soon to be published “Mission: GODpossible”.He has been involved in many community organizations such as, the Rhode Island Young Professionals- member and former Vice President, Smith Hill Community Development Corporation- President of the board, and Cathedral of Life Christian Assembly (Sr. Pastor, Overseer J. Allen Williams), Partner, Deacon, and ministry leader.

Karriem has lived in Rhode Island for 15 years and that is what brought him to the state from Queens, NY. He graduated with an associate, bachelor and master degree all in business from Johnson & Wales University.He has been married for 10 years to his lovely wife Deborah Pierce-Kanston and they reside in Providence.He loves the LORD and his number one job is having a relationship with the LORD and sharing the good news of Jesus Christ.
